Women Rewilding: With Bex Tyrer

Bex has dedicated her life’s work to yoga, women’s health, and social and environmental justice. She has been a full-time yoga teacher at the Yoga Barn since 2009, where she teaches hatha, vinyasa, yin, restorative, and women’s balance yoga classes. Originally from Scotland, she has a love for the wilderness, and with an MPhil graduate degree in Development Studies from Oxford University, she has an insatiable curiosity for exploring life in all its dimensions, including the study of Yogic thought and history.

This retreat is a time to re-wild, refresh and be re-inspired. When we venture back out into nature, the wisdom of cyclical living is abundant. There will be long morning and evening practices in the estate grounds. There will be winding daily walks through the hills that have been carved over thousands of years, and cold plunges into the river. The "learning" will come through the remembering, that we never were "separate," and that the cycles and rhythms that surround us are continuously mentoring and guiding our lives.
